Noah Taylor
Pastor
Pastor Noah grew up in Tulsa, Ok. He gave his heart and life to Christ as a child and answered God's call to Christian ministry at the age of 19. Following this important decision in his life, he chose to move to North Carolina to train for the ministry. It was there he met his wife Alexis and developed a burden for church ministry and preaching. He has served church's in the role of Children's Pastor, Youth Pastor, and now has served as Pastor of Evergreen Church since 2014. He and his wife Alexis have been married for 12 years and have three children - Brayden (9), Silas (6), and Maelee (2).
Ryan Taylor
Assistant Pastor
Originating from Northwest Alabama, Ryan was saved at a young age and eventually answered the called to full time ministry in high school. His journey of faith led him to study for ministry at Southeastern College, where he met his lovely wife, Rebecca. Together they have two children, Knox and Thea. Ryan currently is works with our our College and Young Adult Ministry, Discipleship Groups, Children's Ministry, and Media Ministry.
Preston Harris
Worship Pastor
Born in Eastern North Carolina, Preston grew up in a Godly home full of music. With this passion for music, he graduated from Southeastern College in 2019 with a bachelor degree in Church Music. He joined our staff shortly after graduating and is using his talent for the Lord. Preston and his wife, Heather, love the mountains and enjoy worshiping God through music.
Alexis Taylor
Children's Ministry Coordinator
Alexis grew up in Cary, NC and was saved in the bus ministry of Landmark Church. As a teenager the Lord continued to work in her heart concerning her future and her calling. This led to her pursuing a degree in Elementary Education. While studying at Southeastern College, she met her husband, Noah. They have three beautiful children together. She has served in several capacities in church ministry including; Christian School teacher, coach, Church vocalist, and now our current Children's Ministry Coordinator. Alexis' goal for our Children's Ministry is to equip children with the knowledge and desire to reflect Christ through their lives. She believes is important for every child to realize God wants to use them for His purpose and glory no matter their age.
Debbie Williams
Office Manager
While Debbie was born and raised in Erwin, Tennessee she spent most of her adult life in Jacksonville, Florida until God opened a door for her to return home after 26 years. While in Florida Debbie served faithfully in her church as a Sunday School teacher and the Awana T&T Girls Director. In 2015, Debbie became the church secretary where she assists the pastor and staff in a variety of administrative duties. Debbie has a huge passion for children and she currently serves as our Awana Ministry Director as well as teaches one of our girls Sunday school classes. Debbie and her husband, Wayne, have been married for 34 years. Together they have 3 children, 7 grandchildren, and 1 great-granddaughter. Her life verse is Romans 8:28 "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God to them who are called according to His purpose."
